Platform Ticket Rules in Covid-19

The move comes a day after Central Railways decided to reduce platform ticket prices from Rs 50 to Rs 10 at major stations in the Mumbai metropolitan area. A statement said ticket prices for platforms at Madurai, Dindigul and Tirunelveli stations in Madurai division have been increased to discourage people from entering the platforms to maintain social distancing. When COVID restrictions were eased, the old rate of 10 euros had been reinstated.
