Jefferson County Free Legal Advice

This clinic is offered every second Wednesday of the month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. by the Jefferson County courts. You will have 15 minutes with a lawyer to discuss issues related to the divorce process, legal separation, dissolution of a registered partnership and RPA (formerly custody). Each year, Beth Andersen dedicates dozens of hours to volunteer work, giving back to the community, and helping anyone who wants access to legal aid. One of the ways she does this job is by volunteering at various free legal clinics in Jefferson County each month. Clinics typically allow visitors to participate on a first-come, first-served basis and receive 15 minutes of free legal advice about their divorce or family law issue. Please share this information with your family and friends who may benefit. Colorado Farmworkers Project provides advocacy and legal representation to agricultural workers. Northwest Project provides consulting services, limited and comprehensive representation.

Beth and other lawyers voluntarily spend about 30 minutes explaining the process of dissolving marriage and assigning parental responsibility to a group of clients in the family tree. Clients also have the opportunity to ask specific questions about their case. LASMNY`s Watertown office provides free civil law services in Jefferson and Lewis counties on issues such as consumers, housing, domestic violence, public benefits, and seniors` rights. Beth will volunteer to provide legal advice on May 11, July 13, September 14 and November 9.
