The Human Rights Law Program is an accredited community legal centre that operates within the CRSA to provide claimants with free, expert legal advice and representation in immigration matters. The Human Rights Law Program consists of a team of full-time lawyers and works with a large team of volunteers to provide holistic and innovative legal services. The programme is also engaged in community legal education, legal reform, sector capacity building and advocacy. This role requires a minimum commitment of 1 shift per week for 12 months. Shifts are available on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (sometimes last after 8 p.m.).
