Ecology has not yet explicitly developed the kind of coherent and simplistic generalizations illustrated, for example, by the laws of physics. Nevertheless, there are a number of generalizations that are already evident in what we know about the ecosphere today and that can be organized into a kind of informal set of laws of ecology. The third and final law of thermodynamics defines absolute zero and brings together the concepts of entropy and temperature of these latter laws. The term “Four Spiritual Laws” does not appear in the scriptures, but the Principles do. CRU`s goal was to create an outreach tool that organizes biblical steps to salvation in a simple, easy-to-understand format. In the introduction to the little booklet, it says, “Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical universe, there are spiritual laws that govern your relationship with God. There were already two laws of thermodynamics, the first and second laws. Well, in both of these laws, the term temperature was used, which was basically considered the degree of sharpness. While the term “temperature” was used in the first and second laws, no one could really define it. There wasn`t really a way to define temperature in thermodynamics. The law of zero was therefore made so that the temperature could be defined. So what does Law Zero actually say? Let`s take a look.
Let`s say you have two systems, A and B, connected to each other with some kind of barrier between them. Well, the heat or energy from A is transferred to B or vice versa, the energy from B is transferred to A. This assumes that the wall is diathermic, which means that heat can be exchanged, unlike an adiabatic wall, which would not allow heat to pass. Anyway, that`s what the zero law shows us, but there`s a lot more to us than that. The illustration you just saw tells us something. What is it? What is this physical quantity that determines that the two systems reach equilibrium and stop the transfer of heat from one system to the other? Well, it was precisely this physical quantity that was discovered later. The zero law actually came after the first three laws of thermodynamics, but it was actually so fundamental and provided a basis for the other laws that it was given the name zero. This way, people knew in what order to learn or think about laws.
Who knows what methods of evangelism will emerge from our isolated post-pandemic reality? But one thing remains clear. Whatever the means, the path is always urgently needed. Here is what the first law of thermodynamics says: the thermal energy given to a system is converted into its internal energy and worked on this system. Although religious tracts were published for centuries, Bright`s pamphlet became what is considered the most widely circulated religious booklet in history. When Dr.
Bright passed away in 2003, the Rev. Billy Graham commented on his friend`s motivations and accomplishments, saying, “He carried a burden on his heart like few men I have ever known. A burden for the evangelization of the world. He is a man whose sincerity, integrity, and dedication to our Lord have been a source of inspiration and blessing to me since the earliest days of my ministry. I found it useful to explain this principle by analogy. Suppose you open the back of your watch, close your eyes and put a pencil in the works on display. The almost certain result would be damage to the watch. However, this outcome is not absolutely certain. There is a limited possibility that the clock was not set and that random pencil pushing brought the exact change needed to improve it. However, this outcome is extremely unlikely. The challenge is: why? The answer is obvious: behind the clock is a very considerable amount of what technologists today call “research and development” (or, more famously, “research and development”).
This means that over the years, many watchmakers, each trained by a predecessor, have tried a variety of detailed arrangements of watch movements, discarding those that are not compatible with the overall operation of the system and retaining the best features. The goal is to clarify the four points of the gospel and effectively communicate God`s plan of salvation while helping them lead them to the truth of the Scriptures. In ecology as in economics, the law aims to warn that every profit is earned with a certain price.
In a way, this ecological law embodies the three previous laws. Since the global ecosystem is a coherent whole in which nothing can be gained or lost and which is not subject to general improvement, everything extracted from it by human effort must be replaced. The payment of this price cannot be avoided; It can only be delayed. The current environmental crisis is a warning that we have delayed almost too long. Another way for a Christian to use the booklet as a witness tool, according to CRU, is to memorize the content and use it as a frame of reference in everyday organic interactions. They suggest that Christians can draw the diagrams on the back of napkins while sharing a meal with an unbeliever or discussing the four laws in the context of believers` own testimony. Once friends, colleagues, and acquaintances have heard that a Christian casually shares the booklet, they are more likely to accept the booklet for further reading. He then establishes four fundamental and inescapable laws of ecology (which complement Garett Hardin`s Three Filters).
The principles describe a beautiful web of life on Earth. The last five pages of the booklet offer scriptures on how to ensure salvation, explain what happens to a believer after being born again, and suggest further spiritual growth. Law #4 is the action step that gives readers practical instructions for accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This law uses John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, and John 3:1-8 to explain what it means to accept Christ by faith and what it means to be born again. This, of course, is simply a somewhat informal reformulation of a fundamental law of physics – that matter is indestructible. Applied to ecology, the law emphasizes that there is no “waste” in nature. In any natural system, what is excreted as waste by one organism is absorbed as food by another. Animals release carbon dioxide in the form of respiratory waste; It is an essential nutrient for green plants. Plants excrete oxygen, which is used by animals.
